Historic functionality

Historically Deal Views have been entirely static once opened. This obscured the Portfolio View, making it impossible to see changes in real time.

Related to this, when you made changes to a deal and pressed save the window closed automatically, again making it impossible to see changes in real time.

New functionality

Henceforth users will be able to move and minimize Deal View’s and to save changes without the window closing. This will provide greater visibility when analyzing and editing deals and portfolios.
If you left click on a Deal View the following icon will appear: Move icon

Do not release the left button. You will now be able to drag the Deal View anywhere on the screen.

Moving deals

Deal toolbar buttonsIn the top right hand corner of the Deal View you have three icons to choose from.

  1. Save – this saves any changes you make but keeps the Deal View open.

  3. Close – this will close the Deal View.

If you edit a deal but do not press save then any changes will be lost.
