Historic functionality

Historically it was not possible to save view settings in TreasuryView™.

New functionality

Henceforth users can save their preferred settings in the Filter and View Settings fields, allowing them to display portfolio information in the format which best suits their needs.

This functionality can be applied to any analytic in the Enterprise, Interest rate, Forex or Commodity class e.g. specific view settings for specific analytics.

Filters

Filters allow users to select/deselect portfolio information based on certain pre-set criteria. By filtering out non required information users achieve greater visibility when analyzing portfolios. Any combination of the following criteria can be applied:

  • Deal type – allows you to display all deals or just investments, funding, derivatives or non-derivatives.
  • Deal size – allows you to display the top/bottom 10 deals by nominal size.
  • Counterparties – allows you to display deals with a chosen counterparty.
  • Currencies – allows you to display deals in a chosen currency.
  • Portfolios– allows you to display deals in a chosen portfolio (in the event you have more than 1 activated).

Filters menu

First select the relevant analytic in the Enterprise, Interest rate, Forex or Commodity class.

Having chosen your filter, or combination thereof, now select the Remember settings tickbox and press Apply changes. When you next log-in the saved settings will automatically appear as the default view for the respective Portfolio View analytic.

If you wish to remove these settings for the Portfolio View analytic select Reset settings.

View Settings

View Settings allows users to manipulate portfolio information based on certain pre-set criteria. Any combination of the following criteria can be applied:

  • Currency – allows you to convert a portfolio to a given base currency at the prevailing spot rate.
  • Period start – allows you to define the date from which the portfolio should be displayed.
  • Period length – allows you to define the frequency on which future portfolio information is displayed.
  • Show all columns – allows you to display all periods until the maturity of the portfolio.
Loading all columns may slow performance.
  • Include fees – allows you to include/exclude fees from analytics, as required.
  • Item type – allows you to show multi-leg deals as a whole deal or by individual leg.

Settings menu

First select the relevant analytic in the Enterprise, Interest rate, Forex or Commodity class.

Having chosen your setting, or combination thereof, now select the Remember settings tickbox and press Apply changes. When you next log-in the saved settings will automatically appear as the default view for the respective Portfolio View analytic.

If you wish to remove these settings for the Portfolio View analytic select Reset settings.
